I.C.E. Exchange Program Description: Accommodations for accessibility have long been a part of our exam design and delivery practice, and more recently this focus has shifted to the idea of equity and inclusion – driven by the realization that making a positive change for one diagnosed minority is actually preferential, and/or beneficial to a huge range of test takers – making the whole process more comfortable and reducing test day nerves. By introducing common principles used in marketing for research and production of materials, we hope to facilitate a discussion that not only benefits the test taker, but empowers SMEs, test designers and delivery associated staff such as proctors and test center admins, by producing more effective guidelines, without compromising the integrity of their exams and potentially improving their bottom line. Ultimately, we also want delegates that join the discussion to talk about how they have implemented inclusive design and the impact this has had on their test takers, and business as a whole.
