Dr. McDowell-Porter, PhD, LCSW, CDP, is the Senior Program Manager of Social Mission & Academic Excellence at Chamberlain University. She is a corporate social worker, I/O Psychologist, and Certified Diversity Professional. Throughout her career, she has been a trailblazer in promoting inclusivity across various sectors, including academia, the military, the intelligence community, non-profits, and private companies. In her current role, she leads the curriculum and assessment redesign of faculty fellowship and professional development, embedding Anti-Racism, Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (ADEI) at the core of faculty learning. Her work is dedicated to equipping faculty to prepare students for a world that values every voice, ensuring they are ready to face the challenges of today and tomorrow with empathy and innovation. Beyond the classroom, she is a respected advocate for accrediting programs that prioritize diversity, leveraging her extensive experience in research and change management. She also serves as the Vice Chair for the Assessment-Based Certificate Accreditation Council of I.C.E., evaluating and accrediting programs that uphold the highest standards of diversity and inclusion.
