I.C.E. Exchange Program Description: Bring your charged laptops, cell phones, and tablets, we're logging on! You'll learn how to use the most common forms of assistive technologies disabled people use to engage with digital content. Understand barriers disabled candidates face when using their assistive technologies of choice in certifications.
Learning Objectives:
Upon completion participants will be able to conduct basic accessibility/usability testing of their own content and systems using assistive technologies available to everyone.
Upon completion participants will be able demonstrate challenges in their systems and vendor partners to begin to address digital accessibility challenges to meet their DEI commitments.
Upon completion participants will have an active first person understanding of what it means to face digital accessibility barriers to access in their own program components.
